The Tolima department is the third coffee producer in Colombia; it represents 12% of domestic coffee production. Café de Tolima offers a very pronounced aroma, medium to medium-high acidity, medium body and fresh, sweet and lightly fruity flavor.

 

The department of Tolima is located in the center of Colombia. It is a region characterized by its beautiful and unique landscapes, working people and by producing a coffee with unique attributes that is distinguished by its aroma and cup profile. The department’s coffee zone comprises 116,229 hectares, with 71,498 farms. A total of 61,465 families make their living from this crop and are located in 38 of the 47 municipalities of the department.
