La Loma

La Loma means green mountains, is located on the Pitalito hill in Huila, very close to the Montablanco Estate.

Since 2011, the owner of La Loma has operated and managed the coffee farm around Pitalito with Rodrigo Sanchez Valencia who owns Montablanco Estate, both co-founded a quality and cup testing LAB in La Loma Estate, they roast samples and evaluation of the quality to ensure that the coffee in each region achieving their expecting goals.

Description Process

All coffee cherries are harvested right at 22-25  Brix degrees and followed a very strict picking standard, peel it immediately and do a 32-hour fermentation in the washing tank. After resting, it will be completely washed in the water and then moved again. Afterwards washed and dried on raised beds to ideal moisture content.
